Download and install Jamovi: The first step in learning Jamovi is to download and install the software on your computer. Once you have downloaded the installer file, follow the prompts to complete the installation process.

You can also start working with Jamovi directly from the cloud without having to download any software, using that link: https://cloud.jamovi.org/

You can then choose if you’d like to continue as a guest, or sign-up with your google account or with an email address.

First steps with Jamovi:

Familiarize yourself with the interface: Once you have installed Jamovi, take some time to familiarize yourself with the interface and the various features and tools that are available. The main window of Jamovi includes a menu bar, a toolbar, and a series of panes that display different types of information and options. You can use the Help menu to access documentation and learn more about the different features of Jamovi.

Import data from the outside:

Once you are comfortable with the interface, the next step is to import your data into Jamovi. You can import data from a variety of sources, including xlsx files, txt files, csv fikes, sav files and more.

To import data, click on the “File” menu and select “Import Data.” You will then be prompted to select the source file and specify the import options.
